After receiving your interest, we will send you by email all important information regarding payment and securing your placement.

Once we have received deposit for your chosen course, your place is booked.

Price Fee includes all materials, tools and equipment used during the course. Students can keep all prosthetic pieces and moulds made by them during the course.

Students attending 6 week Prosthetic & Make-up Fx course, will be given brushes, sculpting tools and alcohol based paints.

If you are going to attend our 6 weeks Prosthetic Make-up course, your make-up kit will include a special paint palette, selected sculpting tools.

A deposit of 25% of the course fee is required to secure your placement on any of our courses. All the remaining fee plus the VAT should be paid at least 1 week before the beginning of the course.

Please remember that all deposits and fees are non – refundable.

You can pay by bank transfer or cash.

Please remember that bank transfers may take between 3 to 5 days, so be sure that you have enough time to secure your payment.

If you are looking for a place to stay near our Academy you can book accommodation in Birkenhead or Liverpool - as we are only one train stop from the Liverpool city centre.

We are happy to welcome students from all over the world! You don’t need to be worried about language barriers, there is no English tests to attend to our courses, just good communicative English will be enough.

If you are from non-EU country you may need VISA to enter or study in the UK.

Proceeding VISA takes time, make sure that you have enough time to process the VISA application.

You don’t need to have any previous experience with make-up or prosthetics make-up to join our Academy. You will learn everythng you need to know during the course. Our courses are designed for people who are starting their journey with make-up fx and prosthetics and also for those who have some experience already. We believe that everyone has some hidden talents and even if you have never held a make up brush before, you may become one of the best in the industry.

You have to be 18 or over to take part in our classes. If you are under 18, you can still attend to our class but with parent/legal guardian approval.

We believe that teachers should have lot of experience to pass their knowledge to students. That is why Shaune Harrison will be the main tutor during the class.

Each class will have maximum of 4 - 6 students. We believe that only in small classes we can give all important attention and time to our students.

Yes, all students attending long and short courses will receive a Shaune Harrison Academy certificate of completion of the course. Remember that more than any certificate the most important thing is your portfolio. We will make sure you get great pictures of your work to show your future employer how talented you are.

We will do everything we can to help you after your graduation. There are more and more big Hollywood productions being made in UK, Wales, Ireland and Scotland so there is the opportunity for you to start your career. Because of our experience we will give you all the relevant advice and information on how to get a job. The most important is hard work and determination.

As a make up artist you will have a huge variety of possibilities and opportunities all along your career. You can work in theatres, musicals, fashion shows, TV, films - from small productions to big blockbusters, music videos, commercials, doing straight make up for different events such as weddings, anniversaries, kids parties, Halloween etc. etc.
