To apply on a course at our Academy you should follow these two steps:

In most of our courses the price includes a make up kit / sculpting kit / set of brushes for our students. Fee’s also includes all materials, tools and equipment used during the course. For students who attend our one week/days courses all make up and brushes will be provided during these courses.
It depends on the type of course you are going to choose. All make up kits / sculpting kits / brush sets are specially selected to suits the needs of your chosen course. If you are going to attend e.g. our 6 weeks Prosthetic Makeup course, your make up kit will include skin illustrator paint palette, special brushes, selected sculpting tools.
A deposit of 25% of the course fee is required to secure your placement on any of our courses. All the remaining fees plus the VAT must be paid at least 4 weeks before the beginning of the course.
If you apply for a course less than 4 weeks before the beginning of the course, you must pay all course fees at the time of enrolment.
Please remember that all deposits and fees are non – refundable.
You can pay by bank transfer, by cheque, credit card and debit card.
All our bank details of how to pay will be sent to you after receiving your Application Form (from our web site).
Please remember that bank transfers may take between 3 to 5 days, so be sure that you have enough time to secure your payment.
Because we are opening in April 2014, there is plenty of time for you to decide which course is the best for you and prepare your payments.

Our Academy will be very happy to welcome students from all over the world! You don’t need to be worried about language barriers, there is no English tests to attend to our courses, just good communicative English will be enough.
If you are from non-EU country you will need a VISA to study in the UK.

One more thing to remember, proceeding VISA takes time, so if you would like to apply to our courses be sure that you have enough time to process the VISA application.
No, you don’t need to have any previous experience with make up or prosthetics at all. Our Academy will teach you everything you need to know from the very beginning. We believe that everyone has some hidden talents and even if you have never held a make up brush before you may become one of the best in the industry.
You have to be 18 or over to take part in our classes.
All our teachers are experienced make up artists with an amazing film, TV, theatre and fashion background. They will be teaching you all the most up to date techniques in make up, hair and prosthetics and also explaining and sharing all their own experience working as a make up artist.
Each class will have maximum of 4 - 6 students (10 max during Masterclass). We believe that only in small classes we can give all important attention and time to our students.
Yes, all of our students attending long and short courses will receive a Shaune Harrison Academy certificate of completion of the course. Remember that more than any certificate the most important thing is your portfolio. We will make sure you get great pictures of your work to show your future employer how talented you are.
We will do everything we can to help you after your graduation. There are more and more big Hollywood productions being made in UK, Wales, Ireland and Scotland so there is the opportunity for you to start your career. Because of our experience we will give you all the relevant advice and information on how to get a job. The most important is hard work and determination.

Being a Make up artist is one of those jobs that you can work in so many different places all over the world! You can work in theatres, musicals, fashion shows, TV, films - from small productions to big blockbusters, music videos, commercials, doing straight make up for different events such as weddings, anniversaries, kids parties, Halloween etc. etc.
